Diepvries Urk works in accordance with the highest quality requirements. The company is IFS certified, among others. IFS stands for International Food Standard, a combination of HACCP, quality management, GMP, customer focus, and various site standards. HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, a risk inventory for food products. GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice, a quality assurance system for the food industry, among others. Many retailers in the Netherlands and abroad require this IFS certificate.

In addition to the IFS certificate, we also have a BRC certificate. The British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Food Safety is a standard for food safety. Our company also has the MSC and ASC quality labels for its contribution to sustainable fishery and fish farming.
